About Me
I am a Systems and Network Integration Engineer and the founder of Constant Labs, the platform behind the Constant Labs Tactical Kit (CLTK). I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Networks) and have worked across desktop support, systems engineering, and complex network integration projects within UK emergency services and corporate environments.
My engineering work has consistently focused on designing and deploying reliable systems where continuity, validation, and traceability are essential. I have configured and supported enterprise Cisco routing environments, FortiGate firewalls, and mission-critical infrastructure, led high-risk migrations, and built automation tooling to reduce configuration errors, minimise manual effort, and improve operational reliability at scale.
What began as writing scripts and templates to reduce engineering risk evolved into a structured automation framework. Over time, these tools became Constant Labs created to help IT professionals automate safely, document accurately, and operate with engineering-grade reliability. This foundation now powers the CLTK, which provides a unified launcher, validated modules, reporting templates, and a build system that preserves version integrity and provenance through a controlled Reference System.
Today, I focus on developing and sharing practical, field-tested automation tools and documentation systems through the Constant Labs ecosystem. The goal is simple: help engineers build dependable workflows, reduce configuration risk, and work with confidence, clarity, and ownership in environments where correctness and trust matter.

Ambulance Trust Project
Critical National Migration | Automated Configuration Validation | Zero-Downtime Deployment
I led a mission-critical migration for the UK Ambulance Trust, managing the entire project lifecycle from planning to final cutover. I reverse-engineered legacy Cisco router configurations, designed a controlled reference environment, and developed a Python-based automation tool that validated and deployed configuration updates with predictable accuracy.
I also built documentation templates to track validation records, verified live network connectivity across WAN and data circuits, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to align technical rollout with operational deadlines. A structured testing process and audit-ready documentation ensured a seamless migration with no service interruptions.

CE Migration Project
Nationwide Migration | Bulk Configuration Automation | Engineering Risk Reduction
I deployed network changes across more than one hundred police control rooms as part of a national infrastructure upgrade. To improve accuracy and reduce repetitive engineering work, I developed a Python-driven automation system using regex and logic patterning to automatically validate and apply Cisco configuration changes safely and consistently.
This allowed engineers to handle large-scale rollout with improved accuracy, reduced manual effort, and minimal risk of misconfiguration. The tools I created enabled repeatable deployments across dozens of environments, improving reliability and traceability.

Cisco ISE Migration Project
ACS to ISE Migration | Out-of-Band Troubleshooting | Access Control Engineering
I supported the nationwide migration from Cisco ACS to Cisco ISE across multiple police control room environments. I created step-by-step documentation for each environment and remotely onboarded devices including routers, switches, and firewalls. I also resolved authentication issues using out-of-band management and manually assisted on-site during some rollout phases.
By reverse-engineering legacy authentication policies and ensuring reliable onboarding, I contributed to one of the first major live rollouts and later helped present lessons learned to wider engineering teams.

Scottish Fire Project

I configured and deployed Cisco and FortiGate firewalls for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service during a control room migration. I simulated real-world operational scenarios using radios and test workstations to validate voice, data, and connectivity paths before cutover.
To reduce repetitive manual testing, I developed a PowerShell script to automate connectivity and NAT validation, significantly reducing verification time. I later resolved a critical NAT misconfiguration before handover.

Stack Switch Upgrade Project
